Review meeting on reforms in Polytechnic Examination system, Curriculum Development, NBA Co-ordination and introducing Life Skill  Development Course under the aegis of Directorate of Technical Education, Assam wasv held in the lecture hall of Institute of Engineers, Panbazar, Guwahati at 10 A.M. on 26th September , 2018. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Maushumi Barooah, Directorate of Technical Education, Assam. She addressed the gathering and spoke for all round development of Polytechnics of Assam.The meeting was attended by Principals of all Govt. polytechnics of Assam and the official as well as staff of the Office of the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam. The Controller of Examination, Dr. Mrinalini Das presented the undergoing reforms in examination system in polytechnics in Assam. Dr. Indrani Gogoi, Training and Placement Officer gave an overview of the present status of National Board of Accredation(NBA) of all the polytechnics. There was a threadbare discussion regarding Introduction of Life Skill Development courses in Polytechnics. The meeting ended with vote of thanks offered by Dr. Manoj Saud, HOD, Mechanical(Automobile) Engineering, Bongaigaon Polytechnic, Bongaigaon.
