The Director of Technical Education, Assam-Dr. Maushumi Barooah on 29th September 2018 visited Kamrup Polytechnic,Baihata Chariali,established in the year 2017 under the scheme of 'Establishing 21 new polytechnics in the state of Assam". She interacted with the teachers, students and the staff along with the Grade-IV and outsourced staff of the Institute. She also attended the first ever Fresher's Society of Kamrup Polytechnic and urged everyone to work hand in hand for all round development of the Institute.
