    Goalpara Polytechnic is one of the 11 new polytechnics (PACKAGE NO. POLY-14) starting their session from 1st August 2017 (2017-18). It is located on a sprawling area of 30 Bighas (9.17 Acres) of land at East Goalpara of Goalpara District and D N Singha Stadium in the west, Beltola Chariali in the north, ITI- Goalpara in the south and green residential area in the east. It is 20 minutes away from the Goalpara Town Railway Station and 10 minutes away from the bus stand. The location of the institute is very beautiful and surrounded by greenery.


    Kamrup Polytechnic was established by Govt. of Assam at Baihata Chariali in theyear 2017 under the scheme of establishing 21 new polytechnics in the state of Assam. It is 1.5 Km fromNational Highway 31 and is well connected with nearby towns like Rangiya, Nalbari and Guwahati by road and Railways.


    Baksa Polytechnic is one of the eleven new polytechnics established in 2017. It is situated in Baksa district at Belguri Pathar, BTAD, at a distance of around 1 km from Mushalpur and 14 km from Barama. The Polytechnic has three branches namely Mechanical, Civil and Chemical Engineering with intake capacity of sixty each.

    Lakhimpur polytechnic is a technical institution offering 3 years diploma under the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam, established by The Government of Assam in 2017. It is officially approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to State Council for Technical Education, Kahilipara, Guwahati, Assam. The institute is situated at a rural place near Kherajkhat H. S. School, in the village of Gosaibari, under the revenue circle of Narayanpur and about 8.5 KM from Narayanpur Town, Assam and about 10 Km from Bihpuria, Assam.


    Amidst the green canopy of green trees and foliages and Arunachal Hills to the North lies the Dhemaji Polytechnic.     Golaghat Polytechnic is one among the eleven new polytechnics established by the Government of Assam in 2017 under the Directorate of Technical education, Assam. The polytechnic is approved by All India Council for Technical education (AICTE) and it offers diploma level courses in three branches of engineering - Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering with intake capacity of  60 (sixty) in each branch toting up 180 (one hundred eighty). The academic session of the institution started from 1st.  August, 2017. Situated at Ulutoli, about 3 km from Furkating Railway junction and about 10km from Golaghat town the nearest airport is Rowriah at Jorhat at a distance of about 55 km. Covering an area of 5.95 acres (18 Bigha) the serene atmosphere and scenic beauty amidst the green tea gardens make this place an attractive one and ideal for scholastic atmosphere.


    Karimganj Polytechnic is one of the 11 new polytechnics set up by the Govt. of Assam started its session from 1st August 2017. It is located in Maizgram of Karimganj district Assam, at a distance of about 8 Km from Karimganj Railway station. The college area is surrounded by greenery having beautiful aesthetic view. It offers three year Diploma courses in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Industrial Production Engineering.
