Q1. What is Kritagyata? |
A1. Department of Pension & Public Grievances is implementing an online Pension Sanction and Payment Tracking System called 'Kritagyata. The system provides for on-line tracking of pension sanction and payment process. The tracking can be done by the individual as well as the administrative authorities for all actions preparatory to grant of pension and other retirement benefits as well as monthly pension paid after retirement. |
Q2. How to get connected on Kritagyata Portal? |
A2. Kritagyata Portal will be connected thorough its website https://kritagyata.assam.gov.in.Retiree will have received login id and password through E-mail and SMS automatically. DDO & HOO has to get registered on Kritagyata for login id and password. |
Q3. Is it mandatory to follow the timelines ? |
A3. Yes, it is mandatory to follow the timelines for better and early pension process so that Pensioners can get their pensionary benefits in time . |
Q4. Can HOO play the role of DDO in his/her absence? |
A4. Yes, HOO has all the rights of DDO but DDO cannot play the role of HOO with DDO login. |
Q5. Can Retiree change the uploaded scanned images (Single photograph, Joint photograph and Signature) ? |
A5. Yes, retiree can replace the previously uploaded photograph with the new one, before submitting forms to HOO. |
Q6. Can retiree edit his/her details after submitting pension forms to HOO ? |
A6. No, after submitting pension forms, HOO has to return back the forms if further necessary changes required in retiree forms. |
Q7. Whether DDO has to generate and upload the XML file every month from Salary package into Kritagyata ? |
A7. Yes, because XML file contains the Salary information and some basic details about the retiree required by the system for their pension process. But for the time being this feature is disabled. |
Q8. Can DDO upload the XML file more than once in a month ? |
A8. Yes, DDO can generate and upload the XML file as per their requirements. |
Q9. Due to which reason, retiree name did not reflect in Kritagyata, even after uploading/importing of the XML file ? |
A9. When DDO generate XML file from the salary package, he/she has to ensure that following details are properly filled in salary package, so that entry of the retiree can be assured in Kritagyata. |

Q10. In Nomination forms 1 and A, is it mandatory to mention alternate nominee? |
A10. No, Alternate nominee details are not mandatory and is purely subjected to the retiree’s choice. |
Q11. In Nomination form A, How many alternate nominees are allowed against an original nominee for Commutation and Arrears of pension ? |
A11. Only one alternative nominee, is allowed against the main nominee. |
Q12. Is it mandatory to mention the address of all nominees and alternate nominees? |
A12. Yes |
Q13. In Family details, is it mandatory to enter the details of children who are above 25 years of age or married ? |
A13. Yes, Details of all legal children are to be entered in Form 3 (Details of Family), irrespective of their age or marital status. |
Q14. Is it mandatory to scan and upload file in the action “Service Verification (12M BDR)” ? |
A14. Yes, uploading of the respective file is mandatory, action cannot be completed without the same. |
Q15. Can HOO take the actions after passing the “Due date” ? |
A15. Yes, Actions can be taken after the Due Date, but System will show the delay. |
Q16. How to nominate a person who is not part of family as per definition of family for Form 3 ? |
A16. Nomination for other than family members will be opened on the select option “other” with members already available for nomination. |
Q17. In superannuation case if a retiree is on EOL on his/her last working day, than how the emoluments will be considered ? |
A17. Process is based on the condition whether the EOL is considered as Qualifying period or not. If NO then the emoluments will be taken from the period excluding the time period of EOL and If YES then emoluments will be taken including the EOL (even if last working day). |
